You’re going to be seeing a lot of the Wellington Botanic Garden over the next several weeks, interspersed with other sights around Wellington, New Zealand. But this week’s articles will be of a visual nature concentrated specifically on the beauty to be found within the botanic garden.
As such, this week’s articles will be light on text (I hear you cheering) and heavy on imagery.
But not all the images this week will be of flowers. Some are just images I found fun:
Other images this week will include some of the manmade decorative elements of the botanic garden. Here, for instance, are two such features in the “Herb Garden” section:
Visible from the herb garden is the Lady Norwood Rose Garden. To the right of the circular rose garden you’ll see a Victorian-style glass house. On the far end of structure is a café with an outdoor seating area:
