Or is it “Main Street?”

The town of Bar Harbor almost seems frozen in the early 20^th Century. The shops and restaurant have a distinctly 1920s-1930s feel and look to them, and the fishing fleets and masted schooners offshore further enhance the effect.

One needn’t go far to escape the early 20^th Century however. While many of the largish mansions on the outskirts of town retain a traditional look, there is no mistaking the modern windows and other anachronistic flourishes.
