Breaking the 10,000 Barrier — 10,068 and counting

Just a tad under two years ago I posted my first YouTube video.  That would be my demonstration on spin-cocking a Rossi Ranch Hand and a full-size clone of the Winchester Model 1892, also made by Rossi and converted for me by the late Mike DiMuzio.  That video hasn’t exactly “gone viral”, but it hasn’t done badly, either.  Today it surpassed 10,000 views.  Here’s that video:

We arrived on October 25, 2015, the morning after the Crown Princess departed Lahaina, Maui.  The Nawiliwili Beach Park is home to a previous non-cruise destination, the beautiful Kaua’i Marriott, where we stayed some twenty years ago when we traveled here with Ursula’s father and his girlfriend.  This past trip was when we also discovered that delightfully decadent Kimo’s Original Hulu Pie at Duke’s Kauai.  You’ll see more on both of these destinations on Wednesday.  Until then, let me just whet your appetite with a description on that desert — whipped cream atop toasted macadamia nuts, afloat on hot fudge over macadamia nut ice cream nestled in a chocolate cookie crust.  And the gardens inside the Marriott hold a lot of wonders, such as beautiful tropical birds and these gold fish:

I’ll continue with both, but until Wednesday I’ll leave you with the photo gallery below:
