Transatlantic — Mijas Sights

This week I’ll be highlighting views of Mijas, with today concentrating on what you can expect in the way of streets and buildings. Wednesday will focus on green spaces and floral decorations. Friday will be the third and final installment of Mijas Fun Photo Friday favorites. After that we catch Harmony of the Seas and start heading west to Nassau, Bahamas.

European Cafés always make for great street scenery. Café Bar Porras on Plaza de la Libertad is directly across from San Sebastián Church:

On the footpath that takes you to Parque La Muralla you’ll find this lovely spot from which to photograph the buildings along a hillside on the west portion of Mijas:

This is also a great vantage from which to make a panoramic shot:

We just loved Mijas for its charm and beauty:

As we headed back to our return appointment with the tour bus, Ursula couldn’t resist stopping by the donkey taxi stand:

And about one minute later we’re back at the appointed place to meet our bus. From the tourism office you can see this interesting shop venue next to the Virgen de la Peña:
