We disembarked from the Crown Princess for the final time this journey on May 6, 2016. Our hotel was within an easy walk of the Canada Place cruise terminal, and equally convenient to Vancouver’s famed Gastown District. The hotel, which I highly recommend, was the Delta Hotel by Marriott Vancouver Suites. It had everything from a great suite to a fantastic location with easy access to Vancouver’s Hop-On/Hop-Off bus. Yep, another city, another hop-on/hop-off tour. These things are great for getting to know the area.
Being an open bus allowed for some great shots of the towering skyline and other sights.
As is our usual custom on these buses we took two round trips, with a stop on the first trip in Chinatown for some authentic dim sum at the Floata Seafood Restaurant in the parking garage across the street from the Chinese Cultural Centre.
Our Hop-On/Hop-Off also took us through Stanley Park and along its beautiful beaches:
I’ll leave you today with some more images of Vancouver architecture, and we’ll pick up the tour again on Wednesday.
