Jewel of the Seas — Back into Cobh’s city center

Titanic Experience Cobh

Leaving St. Coleman’s Cathedral behind, Ursula and I next headed downhill via West View and Casement Square. As you head south down West View, you’ll find a nifty little photographic gallery that is well worth a brief visit. This is Kieron O’Connor Photography. Mr. O’Connor does some very good work.

Turning back onto where Casement Square joins up with Westbourne Place (west) and West Beach (east), here are some scenes for you:

BMC Food Store — a fun resupply stop
Outdoor seating at Coffee Cove on West Beach
Irish “Telefón” booth outside Leonardo Café Kimbo on West Beach

Stroll onto the John F. Kennedy Pier just east of Titanic Experience Cobh for this view:

And some really rustic fishing boats:

Well, it’s almost time for lunch, which I’ll cover on Fun Food/Photo Friday. Wednesday will feature sights we saw on the trek back to Jewel of the Seas. Until then, here is Titanic Experience Cobh:
