On Monday we took a look at the forests of Acadia. Today we head for the shore and some breathtaking scenery.

The skies were relentlessly overcast during our stay here, but somehow it seemed to fit once we got to the shoreline. I’m not sure I would have gotten the same “mood” if we had “lucked out” and gotten blue skies and bright sunshine.

About the only thing I could have wished for would have been rougher water and waves that crashed against the rocks with just a tad more energy. Nevertheless, I wasn’t disappointed with what we got that day.
