Canary Islands — Tenerife; Parish of St. Francisco de Asís

Santa Cruz is a fun place to walk around, and there is much to see and do within easy walking distance of the port. One such sight is the Iglesia de San Francisco de Asís (Church of St. Francis of Assisi). Unfortunately on this day the lighting was all wrong to get a decent exterior shot, but the interior did not disappoint. I show you that interior in a moment, right after I present to you this image of Triunfo de la Candelaria (also called Obelisco de la Candelaria) in the Plaza de la Candelaria:
