Nine Days out of Barcelona—Las Palmas, Teror, and Funchal

Wednesday gave us a look at various sites in Morocco and Grand Canary Island.  We’ll continue today with the Las Palmas Cathedral, the Canary Island town of Teror, and wind up our tour in Funchal, Madeira.  Madeira is interesting because, let’s face it, where else can you go careening down a steep, asphalt city street in a wicker toboggan?
