A New Career; A New Beginning

Welcome to the world of my sinister imagination.  It’s a world of travel, adventure, murder, mayhem, and mystery. In my upcoming releases I will be taking you to exotic and exciting locales around world.   My novels will transport you to countries and cities I have personally visited.  I have already taken you to idyllic Fiji in my currently available psychological murder mystery Decisions.   In 2011 I will transport you again, this time to the majestic Alps of Switzerland; the bustle and intrigue of Cairo, Egypt; the sophisticated beauty of Sydney, Australia; a picturesque but deadly rural farm in East Anglia, England; and a floating cosmopolitan resort of death aboard a cruise ship in the Mediterranean.

I have been writing novels since the early ’90s and, starting this past year (2010), writing has become my new full-time career.  Now I will be reaching back into my archives to bring to you stories that will amuse, amaze, and astound.  Next up will be the Ian Drake series, a trilogy of novels involving an aircraft sabotage investigator with a appetite for gourmet foods, an appreciation for fine wines, an attraction for beautiful women, a aptitude for bridge, and an affinity for trouble . . . lots of trouble.  Look for An On Time Departure, And The Games Begin, and Grand Slam to find out why death doesn’t stop at the scene of the crash.

  1. Doug,

Bookmarked. I’m looking forward to it.

    Best wishes,

That guy sounds like a cross between James Bond and Robert Oppenheimer.

I believe I saw Mr. Drake in the mirror this morning. 🙂

My wife just finished Decisions. She thought the Don/Van/Donovan idea was cool. She said that the story held her interest to the end. One quibble, though. In the Epilogue, the author states that he “studied” for two years at Clemson University. According to what she has heard, the word “attended” might be more accurate.
