Why I Love Northern New Mexico—Part 2


Even many of the restaurants in Northern New Mexico carry on the ambiance of the region—with whitewashed walls, brightly-colored fabrics, and beamed ceilings.  But it’s the food that is the real draw.  Below you’ll see in interior of one of our favorite lunch stops—Rancho de Chimayo Restaurante and Hacienda.  It doesn’t get much more authentic than this.

The Rancho de Chimayo is just minutes from the famed El Santuario de Chimayo, considered by some to be the most Catholic pilgrimage center in the U.S.

Now, time for me to shut up and let you enjoy the view in solitude:
